This Privacy Policy explains how Asimov ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal and confidential information when you use our MCP (Model Context Protocol) server platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you consent to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
- Account Information: name, email address, authentication identifiers and profile data processed via authentication.
- Billing Information: payment method and transaction information processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store card numbers on our servers.
- Content You Provide: files and documents you upload, GitHub repositories and website URLs you index, files you store, and contexts you save for use with AI coding agents and assistants. We do not use them, other than for your own utility.
- Integration Data: API configurations and settings you connect to enable your AI agents to access the MCP server tools and resources.
How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, operate, and improve the MCP server Services and features you request.
- Authenticate users and secure accounts, including fraud and abuse prevention.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe.
- Index GitHub repositories, documentation websites, and other sources you provide to enable context-aware AI coding agents.
- Store and retrieve files and contextual information for your AI assistants.
- Provide technical support and communicate about updates or changes.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Sharing and Disclosure
- Service Providers and Sub‑processors: we use trusted vendors to host, store, process, and transmit data, including external database providers (authentication, storage) and Stripe (payments). These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
- AI Coding Agent Integrations: when you connect AI assistants like Claude Code or Cursor to our MCP server, we provide the tools and resources necessary for your agents to access indexed sources and stored files as you configure.
- Legal, Safety, and Compliance: we may disclose information if required by law or in good faith belief that such action is necessary to protect users, our platform, or the public.
Cookies and Session Management
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, maintain your MCP server sessions, and improve the Service. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described below.
Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and at (REST), scoped access controls, and separation of production credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross‑border transfers.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under data protection laws (e.g. GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us to request deletion.
